How to become an operator of an ECOFACTOR charging station for electric vehicles.

Anyone who wants to start a business can install a charging station. It can also be a variety of companies: Condominiums, factories, shops, petrol stations, construction companies, owners of car parks, cafes or hotels, etc.

What do you need to install a charging station and earn passive income?

1.When starting a business, the question of what form of business organisation to choose is bound to arise. There are several options: registering as a sole proprietor (i.e., an individual entrepreneur) or opting for a legal entity, such as a limited liability company (LLC). Opening a sole proprietorship is a relatively simple procedure to start a business.

First of all, you need an electronic signature (qualified electronic signature). You need to use it to log in/register in the citizen's account on diia.gov.ua.

Next, you should fill in the online form for obtaining the service. Later, it will be verified and automatically sent to the Unified State Register for state registration in an automatic mode without the participation of the state registrar.

The next step is to choose a taxation system (general or simplified). The appropriate marks should be made in the application for state registration. It will be automatically sent to the tax office at the place of registration or business activity. Select the types of economic activity.

The status of the submitted application can be checked later in the citizen's account. A notification of the registration of a Ukrainian as a sole proprietor will appear in the citizen's account and by email. And then the entry will appear in the Unified State Register.

Then, within two business days, you can get an extract from the register in the citizen's office or in the USR using an access code (it will be sent to you by mail). The extract has legal force - it can be printed and used like any other document.

2.  A crucial question is where exactly to install the charging station? The choice of location determines the success and payback rate of your business. 

A business centre, residential complex, park, cafe, hotel, where you can leave your car overnight or for a few hours - for such locations, the following will do speaker charging station. It can charge from 1 to 3 electric vehicles at the same time and requires a power output of 22 to 44 kW. 

Choosing a location on local roads (for example, suburban petrol stations) will be the right solution for installing DC charging stationsThese stations require a power output of 60 kW or more. Such stations charge an electric vehicle with direct current in a short period of time and allow it to travel freely across the country. 

In any case, your charging station should be easily accessible by electric vehicles and have parking spaces according to the number of ports. If there are more than three ports, the parking spaces should be located on both sides to accommodate electric vehicles.

If you have a location where you need a higher power connection, you will need to agree with DTEK or your electricity supplier.

We submit documents to the municipal service or another service company:

- passport;

- documents confirming ownership of the land plot or lease agreement;

- electrical wiring plan in the room.

3. You can order a charging station online on our website ECOFACTOR. The charging station is connected to a three-phase network with a dedicated circuit breaker on the meter and with a current of at least 32A, but does not require additional protective fuses, as all this is already built into the charging station body. 

Do not forget that work on high-voltage networks should be carried out by professionals - installers from the municipal power company or another service company who have the appropriate certificates.
