It's not always easy to find a charging station that's really convenient and works smoothly. Especially if you have just switched to an electric car and are just starting to get to know the infrastructure in Ukraine. One of the networks that is steadily increasing its presence in the country is UGV Chargers.

In this guide, we've put together everything you need to know about UGV charging stations: where to find them, how to use them, what types of charging they offer and what makes them stand out from the crowd. If you're looking for a reliable charging option at home, in the city or on the road, this article will come in handy.

We remind you that you can purchase home and commercial charging stations in our online storeand also use the public charging stations ECOFACTORcharging points located throughout Ukraine. For convenient access to charging infrastructure, we recommend using our mobile applicationwhich is available on iOS and Android.

    What are UGV Chargers?

UGV Chargers is a Ukrainian company that specialises in the design, manufacture and implementation of electric charging stations. They don't just sell equipment, but complete the cycle: from technical design to maintenance of already installed charging points. The company is actively developing its own network, installing stations both in cities and on long-distance routes, i.e. where drivers really need charging.

UGV stations can be found near residential buildings, in business centre car parks, near shopping centres and along major highways. They cover a variety of formats: from basic AC charging to high-speed DC solutions with a capacity of up to 320 kW. Most stations have multiple connectors, which allows charging different types of electric vehicles. The company pays special attention to user-friendliness: the charging interface is simple, and starting a session takes just a few clicks in the app.

UGV also supplies charging stations for private use, business and municipal programmes. Their models are designed for different scenarios: for a home, commercial car park, shopping mall, petrol station or network operator. At the same time, the company is not limited to hardware: it develops software for managing charging points, conducts analytics, integrates with billing, and supports Plug&Charge. As a result, the UGV infrastructure does not look like a set of individual stations, but rather an integrated system where each component is in its place.

Where to find WOG charging stations

It is easy to find UGV charging stations using the interactive map on the official website or the UGV Chargers mobile app. Both options make it possible to see the nearest charging points, check their status - whether the station is free, busy or under maintenance - as well as to plan a route and even book a specific charging in advance. The network is constantly expanding: stations are appearing not only in big cities but also along the highways between regional centres. The company pays special attention to high-traffic locations such as residential complexes, office buildings, commercial car parks and petrol stations.

How does charging on UGV Chargers work?

It's quite simple. To start charging:

    • Download the UGV Chargers mobile app
    • Log in and find the station on the map
    • Select a point and scan the QR code on the station itself
    • Click "Start charging" in the app

In the app, you can monitor the status of the session, see the electricity consumed, pay for charging, and get statistics for previous trips. If you need to, you can book a station in advance to arrive at the exact spot that is available.

    How much does charging cost?

The cost of charging in the UGV network depends on the type of station and specific location. As of September 2025, the average price for AC chargers with a capacity of 7 to 22 kW is approximately UAH 7-9 per kWh, and for high-speed DC chargers with a capacity of 60 to 320 kW - from UAH 9 to 12 per kWh. There are no mandatory subscription fees or subscriptions - you simply pay for the electricity you actually consume. Payment is made via a mobile app or bank card. Some stations also support RFID cards, but the most convenient way is to use the app.

Who is suitable for UGV charging?

UGV Chargers is primarily aimed at those who do not have a home charging point or who travel frequently. Thanks to a large selection of AC and DC stations, the network is convenient for both daily city commuting and long-distance travel.

Chargers are also installed at commercial facilities, residential car parks and business centres. The network can be used by both private car owners and corporate drivers, delivery services and taxis.

Charging speed at UGV Chargers stations

The UGV Chargers network covers both urban and intercity locations, and mainly offers two types of charging stations - AC (with a capacity of up to 22 kW) and fast DC stations (from 60 to 320 kW). These chargers have already been installed in car parks near shopping centres, residential complexes, offices, petrol stations and in popular locations along highways.

How long it takes to charge depends not only on the power of the station but also on the battery of the car itself. For example, an 11 or 22 kW AC charger usually provides a full charge in 4-6 hours. If you use a 120 kW or 160 kW DC station, most electric vehicles can be charged to 80% in 30-40 minutes. More powerful 320 kW stations can reduce this time even further - especially for modern cars with Ultra Fast Charging support.

Please note that some stations have built-in cables, while others require you to bring your own cable with a Type 2 or CCS connector.

    UGV DC Fast Chargers

These are the most powerful stations in the network, which can be found at petrol stations, shopping areas or near highways.

    • Power60 to 320 kW
    • Connectors: CCS, CHAdeMO
    • Average charging time: 20-40 minutes to 80%
    • Advantage.: ideal for fast charging on the go or long-distance travel

    UGV AC Public Chargers

These stations are installed in cities - in residential car parks, near business centres, hotels or gyms. They are suitable for long stays when the car is parked for several hours.

    • Power: 7-22 kW
    • Connectors: Type 2 (cable or socket)
    • Average charging time: 4-6 hours to a full charge
    • Advantage.: convenient to leave the car while working

In the UGV Chargers app, you can check the capacity of each station before you arrive. The system shows the type of charging (AC or DC), available connectors, current status of the station and even the estimated time of the session.

The app also has a filter for power type, so if you need to charge as quickly as possible, you can select only DC charging.

How we at ECOFACTOR make charging easier

If you use UGV charging stations or any other in the city, you know exactly how important it is to have a convenient payment method, a stable connection to the network and the ability to quickly find a free point. At ECOFACTOR, we are working to ensure that all of these things are not a headache, but a normal part of everyday electric vehicle use.

Our platform is more than just a set of charging stations. We don't just sell charging stationsWe create a full-fledged environment for electric vehicles in Ukraine. And whether you use UGV stations or any other, ECOFACTOR will be more convenient. Fewer apps, more control, easy navigation and support that really works.

    Conclusions.

UGV Chargers is one of those networks that actually works in Ukrainian conditions. They don't promise the impossible, they just put stations where they are really needed and make it possible to charge without hassle. If you have an electric car and occasionally find yourself in a shopping mall car park, in a residential yard or near an office, there is a good chance that one of the UGV stations is already nearby.

It's convenient because you don't have to think about additional cards, calls or subscriptions. You install the app, find a point on the map, charge - everything works like a human being. And if you want even more control and flexibility, you can use ECOFACTOR, where all this is already collected in one solution.

UGV covers both city and long-distance routes. And this is important in a country where the charging infrastructure is still being built. Such practical guides are needed so that drivers don't waste time looking for them, but simply know where and how to charge.
