The XPeng G9 is not just another electric car with a big statement. It was created with the idea that drivers want to get maximum convenience without compromising on speed, range and comfort. In this crossover, the Chinese manufacturer XPeng, which has already confidently established itself on the world stage, has combined technical excellence, thoughtful design and a high level of assembly quality.
The G9 was first shown back in 2021, and the production version was launched a year later. Since then, XPeng has been constantly improving the car, and now we are looking at the updated version for the 2025 model year.
We remind you that you can purchase home and commercial charging stations in our online storeand also use the public charging stations ECOFACTORcharging points located throughout Ukraine. For convenient access to charging infrastructure, we recommend using our mobile applicationwhich is available on iOS and Android.
Design: restrained style and recognisable XPeng lines
The appearance of the XPeng G9 is immediately recognisable. It's a large SUV with clean lines, minimal embellishments and a clear emphasis on proportions. The absence of a traditional grille is compensated for by the signature XPeng element - a continuous light strip across the entire width of the front, which the manufacturer calls "Robot Face". It not only adds character, but also makes the car stand out in the dark.
The body profile is reminiscent of a fastback, with a gently sloping roofline and dynamic silhouette. This effect is enhanced by narrow headlights, aerodynamic wheel arches and black decorative inserts around the mirrors and windows. Everything looks laconic, without the ostentatious shine of many "pseudo-premium" competitors.
The XPeng G9 has the dimensions typical of large electric crossovers, but looks slimmer thanks to its body proportions. Its shape is balanced so well that the car seems more compact than it actually is. Inside, it feels as spacious as a higher-end model. The wide cabin, long wheelbase and comfortable seating position make you feel like you're in a premium car that easily combines family-friendly comfort with the confidence of a large SUV on the road.

Interior: space and silence inside
The interior of the XPeng G9 can be called a "lounge on wheels". The materials are of high quality, but not flashy. The seats are upholstered in genuine Nappa leather, have ventilation, heating and even massage. The rear seats can be folded down, turning the rear row into a relaxation area - and this is no exaggeration.
The front panel looks modern, but without being overloaded with touchscreen elements. It is based on two screens, combined into a single panel that is responsible for multimedia, climate and car functions. Controls can be made by voice - the XPILOT system understands natural commands, not just short phrases from the menu.
The interior lighting is soft, with the ability to change colours. The acoustics create a feeling of complete immersion: even at speed, the sound is not blocked by road noise. Everything is designed for a calm, "home-like" atmosphere.
Platform and technology: the heart of the XPeng G9
The G9 is based on XPeng's proprietary X-EEA3.0 electrical architecture with an 800V high-voltage platform. This means not only faster charging but also less energy loss. This technology is still not found in all electric cars, even in Europe.
The electronics are driven by two Nvidia Drive Orin chips capable of performing over 500 trillion operations per second. Thanks to its powerful computing platform, XPeng G9 is equipped with the highly advanced XPilot driver assistance system (which is L2+), which is constantly being improved and updated.
In practice, this means that the car is able to recognise obstacles, road markings, pedestrians and even small objects on the road. XPeng is actively developing its XPilot 4.0 system, and it receives regular over-the-air (OTA) updates.
XPeng G9 Standard Range: the main thing about the basic version
The Standard Range version is the base model in the G9 range. It is aimed at those who value practicality, stability and comfort without unnecessary pretentiousness. This variant is not inferior to more expensive modifications in terms of technology, but wins in everyday use.
Main features of the XPeng G9 Standard Range
- Type of drive: rear-wheel drive (RWD)
- Battery type: lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP)
- Useful capacity: 78.2 kWh
- Real power reserve: 410 km
- The power of the electric motor: 258 kW ( 351 hp)
- Acceleration up to 100 km/h: 6,6 с
The LFP battery ensures stable operation even at low temperatures, making the Standard Range a convenient option for Ukrainian winters. The car charges quickly even at ordinary stations, and the 11 kW home charger fully replenishes the battery overnight.
Despite its "basic" status, this version feels powerful. Acceleration is smooth and jerk-free, and the rear-wheel drive adds to the naturalness of the handling. The air suspension confidently works out bumps, creating a sense of calm even on difficult Ukrainian roads.
The XPeng G9 Standard Range shows that the basic equipment can be mature, technologically advanced and completely self-sufficient. This is the version that is best suited for everyday life, combining high efficiency, comfort and speed without frills.
Performance and control
The XPeng G9 is a large SUV, but it doesn't feel heavy. Thanks to the air suspension with a dual-chamber structure, the car glides gently even on uneven roads. A choice of driving modes allows you to customise your behaviour: from comfortable to sporty.
The steering is precise, and the weight distribution between the axles is well balanced. The crossover handles confidently in corners without excessive roll. The braking distance is about 34 metres, which is an excellent result for a car weighing more than two tonnes. The 351 hp is enough for the G9 to accelerate confidently on the road.

Charging: 12 minutes for the 80% and real efficiency
The XPeng G9 supports both alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC).
- AC charging: up to 11 kW, a full charge takes about 8.5 hours.
- DC fast charging: power up to 445 kW, 10-80% in 12 minutes.
This performance is possible thanks to the 800V architecture and the battery preheating system. Even in cold weather, the G9 charges steadily, which is important for Ukrainian winters.
The average energy consumption is 191 W-min/km, or around 2.1 litres of petrol per 100 km in fuel equivalent. Even better results can be achieved in the city, with an average of around 130 W-mpg in summer.

ECOFACTOR: charging infrastructure that unlocks the potential of electric cars
At ECOFACTOR, we are working to ensure that electric vehicles in Ukraine go beyond the idea of sustainable transport and become a real convenient part of everyday life. Everything we create is charging stations, a mobile app and an online store, is being combined into a single ecosystem for drivers and businesses.
A charging network that grows with the market
Thousands of charging ports are already operating on our platform, and the community of drivers in the ECOFACTOR EV Charging app has more than two hundred thousand users. We develop not only technology but also convenience, such as map of charging stationswhere it is easy to find the nearest charging point, check its status and build a route.
Our mobile app is available on iOS and AndroidIt allows you to see the availability of charging stations in real time, start or stop charging remotely, manage payments and even receive energy consumption statistics. For businesses, we offer a SaaS platform that allows you to manage your charger network, flexibly set tariffs and track energy consumption.
For home, business and travel
We create solutions that are suitable for all application formats - from private garages to shopping centres and hotels. In our online store you can find both stationary and mobile charging stationsand various accessories, cables and adapterswhich help make charging convenient anywhere.
We understand that Ukrainian owners of electric cars, including models such as the XPeng G9, expect not only fast charging but also reliability in all conditions. That's why our stations are tested for resistance to temperature fluctuations and operate stably even in freezing temperatures.
We are ECOFACTOR - a team that proves every day that electric mobility in Ukraine can be simple, affordable and profitable. And when drivers test modern electric crossovers such as the XPeng G9, they can already charge at our stations and use all the features of smart infrastructure.
Security: five stars and smart control
The XPeng G9 has been awarded the highest safety rating of five NCAP stars. The body design is designed to provide three-stage battery protection against impact, fire and overheating. In addition, the Full-Stack LoFic Architecture sensor system monitors the space around the car in real time. The range of auxiliary systems includes:
- Automatic braking in the event of a collision
- lane control
- driver fatigue monitoring
- adaptive cruise control
- automatic parking
XPeng has thought of everything to ensure that the driver can trust the electronics rather than fight them. The system works smoothly and does not cause a feeling of "over-insurance", as is the case with some European models.

Comfort and everyday use
The G9 has a large boot - 660 litres in the standard seating position and up to 1,576 litres when the rear row is folded. There's also a 71-litre front boot (frunk) - handy for small items or a charging cable.
The silence in the cabin is truly impressive. Even at speeds over 100 km/h, only the faint rustling of tyres is audible. This is a huge advantage for Ukrainian roads with their uneven surfaces.
It's also worth noting the little things: a heated steering wheel, wireless charging for two smartphones, high-quality noise insulation and even climate distribution throughout the cabin. XPeng focuses not on luxury, but on reasonable comfort - where it is really needed.
Who is XPeng G9 designed for
This electric crossover is suitable for those who are looking for a car for daily commuting but do not want to give up long-distance travel. It can be seen as an alternative to the Tesla Model Y, Mercedes EQE SUV, or BYD Tang, but with a better balance of price and technology.
The G9 is best suited for
- families who want a spacious, safe and comfortable electric car
- business owners who value prestige and technology
- those who often drive on the roads and do not want to spend time on long charging
- drivers who plan to switch to an electric car but do not trust "experimental" models
Advantages of XPeng G9
- fast charging of the 10-80% in 12 minutes
- comfortable interior with massage and ventilation
- real range of 410 km
- modern XPilot 4.0 assistance system
- 5-star safety rating

However, for those who are willing to wait a little longer for infrastructure development, G9 remains one of the most promising options.
Results.
XPeng G9 shows that Chinese premium is no longer associated with compromises. This is an electric crossover that is not inferior to European brands in terms of technology or quality. It combines a real range, luxury comfort, and the ability to charge faster than your morning coffee.
For Ukrainian drivers, the G9 can be a logical step towards modern electric mobility - practical, safe and thought out to the smallest detail. And if market trends continue, it is quite possible that XPeng will become one of the brands that will define the face of the new era of electric cars in Ukraine.
Frequently asked questions about XPeng G9
1. How far can you really go on a single charge of XPeng G9?
The Standard Range version has a range of approximately 400 kilometres in normal conditions. This is a realistic distance that can be covered without energy saving or special modes. In the city, the car can go a little further, on the highway - a little less, but overall the result is stable and predictable.
2. Can I charge XPeng G9 at home?
Yes, you can do that without any problems. The G9 has an 11 kW on-board charger, so a full charge from a conventional three-phase station takes about an overnight. This means you'll always have a full supply of power for your journeys in the morning.
3. How fast does the XPeng G9 charge on a fast station?
This is where the model really shines. With an 800-volt platform and a charging capacity of up to 445 kW, the battery can be topped up from 10 to 80 per cent in just 12 minutes. Even a short coffee stop is enough to keep you going.
4. How convenient is it to use the car in winter?
The G9's LFP battery is pre-heated, so it charges steadily even in cold weather. Heated seats and steering wheel and even climate control make driving comfortable even in sub-zero temperatures.
