Pytes E-BOX-48100R battery (5.12 kWh, 51.2 V, 100 Ah, LiFePO₄)

The E-BOX series from Pytes is a new generation of low-voltage LFP batteries for home and small commercial energy storage applications. The E-BOX-48100R model has a nominal voltage of 51.2V and a capacity of 100 Ah, which provides 5.12 kWh of usable energy per module. Thanks to its LiFePO₄ chemistry, the battery combines high safety, thermal stability and a long service life, which is especially important for daily charge/discharge cycles as part of a solar power plant.

The built-in battery management system (BMS) monitors the voltage, current and temperature of the cells, balances them and protects them from overloads, overheating and deep discharge. The module supports RS232, RS485 and CAN communication protocols, allowing it to integrate with a wide range of inverters from different manufacturers. The round-trip efficiency reaches ≈95 %, with a declared lifetime of more than 6000 cycles at 90 % DOD and a calendar service life of more than 10 years.

The E-BOX-48100R module is compact and designed to be mounted in standard server cabinets or wall/floor racks. One unit has dimensions of 440 × 620 × 117 mm and weighs about 51 kg, so it is well suited for neatly organising a battery room in a small technical room. Up to 8 modules can be connected in parallel to form a single array (≈41 kWh), allowing you to start with a small system and gradually increase the capacity as your needs grow.

The battery can be used in several scenarios: as a backup power source during grid outages, as an element of a "self-consumption" system (storing excess solar energy during the day and using it in the evening), and to optimise tariffs when the battery is charged at night and supplies energy during peak load hours. Such scenarios are included in the manufacturer's recommendations and are supported by smart grid management algorithms.
