As the logistics industry accelerates its transition to zero-emission operations, reliable and scalable EV charging infrastructure has become a critical backbone for fleet operators worldwide.
Our partner in the Czech Republic, @Auto-Charge s.r.o., deployed a robust AC charging solution for one of the world’s most demanding last-mile logistics operators — @Amazon — delivering 32 charging units with a combined installed capacity of 1.41 MW and a total project value of €71,000.
The Challenge
Last-mile logistics operations run on tight overnight windows. Vehicles return to the depot in the evening and must be fully charged and ready for dispatch by early morning. At this scale, charging infrastructure must be reliable, manageable, and capable of running unattended through the night without incident.
Auto-Charge s.r.o. required a solution that was not only technically sound, but also fully visible and controllable through a single platform — with no room for downtime or blind spots. With Amazon’s delivery commitments on the line every morning, failure was simply not an option.

The Solution
ECOFACTOR supplied and commissioned 32 AC charging stations across the Amazon logistics depot, delivering a total installed capacity of 1.41 MW. The units were distributed across the parking yard to enable full simultaneous overnight charging, with intelligent load management ensuring the site operates within grid capacity at all times.
The deployment was completed in June 2022, and the entire charging infrastructure was integrated from day one into the ECOFACTOR Charge Point Management System (CPMS) — giving Auto-Charge centralized control and real-time visibility over every unit on site from the moment operations began.
