At first glance, the Wuling Bingo Plus looks like a simple city electric car that doesn’t try to attract attention with its aggressive or flashy shapes. But when you get closer, you start to notice small details that create a completely different impression. It has very neat proportions, oval LED headlights with a soft light signature, a sleek front end without unnecessary openings, and thin pillars that make the car seem lighter than it actually is.

Wuling has chosen the path of minimalism, but not “budget” minimalism, but pleasantly restrained. Everything seems to have been done so that the car does not tire the eye: streamlined lines, rounded shapes, calm colours. Bingo Plus has two batteries, and the manufacturer made a wise move here: it offered a minimum of options, but both are good. The smaller battery is suitable for those who drive mainly in the city or to and from work. The larger one is for everyone who wants to have a reserve so that they don’t have to think about charging every night.

  • Version with 37.9 kWh battery shows up to 401 km on the Chinese cycle. In reality, it’s a comfortable 300-330 km, even in winter.
  • 50.6 kWh version range is up to 510 km, which allows you to plan even short trips 150-200 km from home with ease.

Bingo Plus is also very economical. Chinese sources often quote a figure of about 10 kWh per 100 km, which is roughly the energy consumption of a small home boiler per hour. This is one of the reasons why Bingo Plus is gaining popularity so quickly.

Fast charging is here, and it is important. From the 30% to the 80%, the car charges in 30-35 minutes. This is the time you usually spend on coffee and a light snack. On the road, this solves the issue of long journeys without nerves.

Dynamics and motor

There is only one electric motor, the front one, but it is more than enough. The car starts off very briskly, even with four passengers. In the city, it feels fast and light. The manufacturer specifies 0-50 km/h acceleration in 3.7 seconds, which in practice allows it to obediently catch up in city traffic.

A power output of 75 kW may not sound impressive on paper, but in reality, electric cars give a completely different feeling of acceleration. There is no gearshifting, no “thinking”, the car pulls from the first second.

On the highway, Bingo Plus comfortably keeps 100-110 km/h. It’s not a car designed for motorways, but it’s enough for trips from Kyiv to Zhytomyr or Lviv to Rivne. It also goes over 120 km/h, but you can already feel that this is not its natural speed.

A salon that doesn’t look like a “pissed-off” one

Inside, the Wuling Bingo Plus does not try to be a premium electric car. But it doesn’t look cheap either. On the contrary, there are many nice solutions that are sometimes lacking in cars from more expensive brands.
