The Bolt EV supports the CCS standard for fast DC charging. According to official figures from Chevrolet, the new 2027 Bolt can be fast-charged from 10% to 80% in approximately 25 minutes.
Charging to 100% is not recommended when using fast charging, as the charging rate drops once a certain threshold is reached in order to protect the battery.
