The Aito M9 belongs to the large SUV segment. Its dimensions immediately set the right expectations – it really is a large car, which feels substantial both visually and physically.

The drag coefficient (Cd) is 0.264. For a car of this size, this is a very good figure. It has a direct impact on fuel efficiency, noise levels on the motorway and stability at high speeds.

Interior, seating and passenger space

These figures should be viewed in the context of the vehicle’s size. When all three rows of seats are in use, the boot is small but sufficient for everyday needs. With the second and third rows of seats folded down, the space becomes quite suitable for longer journeys.

Power unit and complete drive system

The 100 kWh version of the Aito M9 is fitted with two electric motors and all-wheel drive. One motor is on the front axle and the other on the rear. This is a classic layout for modern electric SUVs.

Road behaviour and handling

Despite its large dimensions, the Aito M9 does not feel heavy or unwieldy. The double wishbone suspension at the front and the multi-link independent suspension at the rear ensure stable and predictable handling.

In real-world use, fuel consumption varies depending on driving style, speed and air temperature. Motorway driving and heavy use of power, as well as cold weather, have a significant impact.

• Mixed driving cycle without sudden acceleration: around 180 Wh/km
• on the motorway at a steady speed of 110–120 km/h: around 200–210 Wh/km

• on the motorway in winter or at high speeds: up to 240–250 Wh/km

These figures clearly illustrate the car’s character. The Aito M9 performs best in a smooth driving style, without frequent sudden accelerations.
