Our CEO and founder, Sergii Velchev and Rodion Borokhovych, Chief of Business Development, visited high-level conference “Investing in Ukraine: From Projects to Partnerships”, organised by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, KSE Institute, with the support of the UK Government and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
During the panel discussion “Where to Invest in Ukraine: Sectors with Real Momentum”, Rodion highlighted the strategic role of decentralised energy and EV charging infrastructure in strengthening Ukraine’s resilience.
“Ukraine’s energy sector has been through unprecedented challenges. We’ve lost 62% of our generation capacity. This winter, Ukrainians are enduring 12–18-hour blackouts. But what’s happening beneath the crisis is a fundamental structural transformation.
The ECOFACTOR solution is a decentralised energy system. EV charging infrastructure is being positioned as part of the distributed energy revolution, where ECOFACTOR charging hubs, paired with solar and battery storage, become energy nodes that strengthen the grid — making Ukraine’s energy system more resilient: harder to destroy, faster to rebuild.”

The discussion underlined that investment in distributed energy, smart infrastructure and eMobility is crucial to rebuilding a modern, secure and future-proof energy system. The conference convened distinguished speakers and partners, including representatives of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, European Commission, London Stock Exchange Group, UkraineInvest, Bank of America, Rothschild & Co, McKinsey & Company, Covington & Burling LLP, Dragon Capital and other global financial and strategic institutions.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the organisers, speakers and moderators for fostering a platform where projects evolve into partnerships and where Ukraine’s transformation is backed by concrete investment dialogue. As Ukraine rebuilds, decentralised energy infrastructure and EV charging networks stand at the intersection of resilience, sustainability and long-term economic growth and ECOFACTOR is proud to contribute to that transformation.
