Procedure and Rules for Obtaining Compensation for Damage to Vehicles and Vehicle Parts During Charging at the Charging Station

These Rules regulate the procedure for vehicle owners to obtain compensation for damage to vehicles and vehicle parts during vehicle charging at charging stations for electric vehicles manufactured by ECOFACTOR.

1. To obtain compensation, the interested party shall submit to the company a written statement about the incident with a detailed description of the circumstances. The statement shall be submitted to the company in writing or by email. The following documents must be attached to the statement:

– A copy of the registration certificate of the damaged vehicle;

– A copy of the applicant’s passport and identification number;

– A copy of the document confirming the right to use the vehicle (if applicable);

– A copy of the inspection report of the damaged vehicle issued by an authorized service center, which must include a description of the damage and its causes, the connection between the damage and the incident stated in the application, and the age of the damage;

– An appraiser’s report or expert opinion on determining the cost of repair of the damaged vehicle as a result of the incident, conducted in accordance with the methodology for commodity expert examination and evaluation of wheeled vehicles, approved by Order of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, State Property Fund of Ukraine dated 24.11.2003, No. 142/5/2092.

2. After the company receives the statement about the incident together with all the documents specified in Section 1 of these Rules, the said documents shall be submitted to the company’s commission, which within 15 (fifteen) business days shall verify the facts stated in the application and examine the connection between the vehicle damage and the charging station.

3. After the commission verifies the facts, the parties shall sign a compensation amount agreement act for the repair of the damaged vehicle within 5 business days.

4. After both parties sign the compensation amount agreement act for the repair of the damaged vehicle, the applicant shall submit the following documents to the company:

– The compensation amount agreement act for the repair of the damaged vehicle, signed by the applicant;

– A statement from the owner of the damaged vehicle requesting the payment of the compensation amount for repair, which must include the bank details of the vehicle owner. A copy of the owner’s passport and identification number must be attached to the statement.

If the statement is submitted by a person other than the vehicle owner, a certified copy of the notarized power of attorney granting the right to receive funds on behalf of the vehicle owner must also be provided.

5. After the company receives the compensation amount agreement act for the repair of the damaged vehicle and the statement requesting compensation payment, the company shall transfer the compensation amount to the vehicle owner or their authorized representative within 15 (fifteen) banking days.
