ECOFACTOR is entering the next stage of its presence in the Polish market — now also as a Charge Point Operator of a public EV charging network. Entering the CPO market complements ECOFACTOR’s existing activity in Poland as a manufacturer of AC and DC charging infrastructure and a provider of software solutions for eMobility. The first station in our own network is already live in Tychy, and the company plans to develop more than 300 charging points across Poland.

ECOFACTOR’s strategy is to build infrastructure close to drivers’ everyday routes — near residential areas, workplaces, shops, car parks, and local services. The goal is not only to be present in many cities, but to gradually increase network density within individual locations, so that charging is always within easy reach of a driver’s daily routine.

We do not want to build a network where drivers have to plan their day around a charger. We want charging to become a natural part of everyday life. The first station is a symbolic starting point for us. Ahead of us is the development of more than 300 charging points and the creation of a truly dense presence in Polish cities.”

— Tomasz Kloc, Regional Director, ECOFACTOR

In the first phase of network development, ECOFACTOR is focusing primarily on AC charging stations, which are well suited to locations where vehicles remain parked for several hours. In the next stages, where technical conditions and available grid capacity allow, the network will also be expanded with fast DC charging stations.

The first station is already on the map of Poland. This is only the beginning. Stay tuned!
