Procedures and Rules for Using Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in the ECOFACTOR Network

Зміст

1. Safety and Equipment Usage

1.1. Equipment Check Before Charging:

– Before connecting an electric vehicle, inspect the condition of the cables, connectors, and charging station.

– The charging station parameters (AC and DC) are shown on its screen and are available in the ECOFACTOR Network mobile app.

– Before starting a charging session, be sure to apply the appropriate filters (the filter icon in the mobile app) so that the map displays only those charging stations where ports compatible with your vehicle are available. Pay attention to the colour of the charging station indicator in the app: a grey colour means the charging station is temporarily out of service. This will help you avoid unnecessary trips.

– Do not use the equipment if damage or cracks are found.

– If using an adapter, make sure it is compatible with the charging session parameters.

– Do not connect the charging cable to ports with the status “Under Repair,” “Unavailable,” or “Reserved” (if the reservation was made by another user).

– Emergency stop — only when truly necessary. Do not press the emergency stop button without good reason. Doing so may disrupt the operation of the charging station.

– Interrupting another user’s charging session is prohibited. It is strictly forbidden to press the emergency stop button during an active DC port charging session if another user is currently charging.

– Do not remove the charging gun during an active session. It is forbidden to remove the charging cable while another user’s active charging session is in progress. This may damage the equipment and interrupt the charging process.

1.2. Equipment Connection Rules:

– During a charging session, do not press the connector against any foreign objects.

– Do not pull or jerk the cable during charging.

– Do not connect the charging cable to ports with the status “Under Repair,” “Unavailable,” or “Reserved” (if the reservation was made by another user).

– Before connecting the connector to the vehicle, always check the status of the relevant port in the mobile app.

– The charging station is not intended for use by persons under 18 years of age or without a valid driving licence.

1.3. Avoiding Moisture and Overheating:

– Charging is possible even in the rain, but direct contact with wet components should be avoided.

2. Obligations of Persons Using Equipment and Charging Their Electric Vehicles

2.1. Parking:

– Park your vehicle within the marked area next to the charging station.

– If there are no markings, position your vehicle so that other users have access to the charging station.

2.2. Charging Time:

– Once your charging session is complete, please vacate the space for other users.

2.3. Use of Parking Spaces:

– Parking spaces next to charging stations are intended exclusively for vehicles that are actively charging. Using them for regular parking is prohibited.

2.4. Compensation for Damages:

If an inspection determines that physical damage to a charging station was caused by a user, the cost of repairs shall be borne by the user responsible for the damage.
